Course and University Policies

Specific criteria for grading and assessment can be found on Moodle.

Throughout the semester, there may be changes to readings and assignments. You will be notified in a timely manner of any changes. In the unlikely event of substantive alterations to a graded assignment, you will be given the option to fulfill the course requirements as listed in the original version of the syllabus. It is your responsibility to remain informed and up to date on assignments, materials, and any instructions given in class. Please check the website and Moodle regularly for updates.

ACADEMIC CODES OF HONOR

Every student is expected to follow the codes of honor and academic ethics as set forth in the University’s Codes of Policies and Regulations.

INFRACTION OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN A FAILING GRADE FOR THE COURSE WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.

For additional information and guidelines, you may also consult the university library’s research standard and resources page on plagiarism

NOTE THAT IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE AWARE OF HOW THE UNIVERSITY DEFINES PLAGIARISM.

Disability Accommodations

Student who require academic accommodation should inform the instructor and contact the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRES). In order to ensure that each student is fully able to contribute productively and derive the maximum value from the course, it is imperative that accommodations are addressed as early in the semester as possible.
